The first page of the layout was done based on the pencil lines sketch shown in the Friday (June 13) post... the second half of the layout was based on Alecia's sketch (Round 4: Alecia's Sketch Challenge #4).
The layout is of an early birthday present to my daughter. She's been asking for months to play guitar and have lessons. DH has been teaching her some but for her birthday we bought her a brand spanking new guitar and lessons. These were pictures when she first brought the guitar home. (As a side note, I thought it was cute that the journaling card that I picked said NOTES on it when it was a music layout.)
The paper was in a kit I won. The chipboard (Creek Bank fat chipboard) I covered in black glimmer mist and used a bit of stickles on the music one. TFL!
